Lots for sale in a small seafront subdivision in the Caribbean country of Belize. This subdivision consists of four seafront lots and eight seaview lots located three miles outside of the fishing village of Sarteneja. Sarteneja is a traditional Mestizo village in the northern part of Belize, approximately two hours\\\\\\\' drive from the Belize International airport. The village is quiet, friendly and virtually crime free. In addition to being known as a fishing village, Sarteneja is primarily recognized as the boat-building capital of Belize, and is home to a regatta every Easter.
These lots are currently off the grid, though power lines are a possibility. There is platted road access to the village, a few miles away, though the roads haven\\\\\\\'t been cleared. Currently, access is by boat to the land, with mooring provided by a small rock pier constructed for the benefit of lot owners. The water at this shore is deep enough for most smaller motor boats and sail boats (such as the kind you could have custom built for you in the village).
Want to get away from it all? You\\\\\\\'re here, at the end of a peninsula known as Rocky Point, and will have the shore, peace, quiet and solitude all to yourself. Still want to be near to amenities? Sarteneja is a few minutes\\\\\\\' boat ride away, for your necessities, and if you desire to hit the city, the capital city of Chetumal, Mexico is only a half-hour\\\\\\\'s boat ride away. Chetumal, a city of 250,000 people, is the state capital of Quintana Roo, and is where many of the villagers travel to buy their larger consumer goods. |
